Redescovery of Cerion iostomum iostomum (Pfeiffer, 1854) (Heterobanchia: Cerionidae) at Matanzas, Cuba

Abstract
C. i. iostomum (Pfeiffer, 1854) was registered for southern Cuba (type locality) and the description was made in a simple way. This taxon is rediscovered in the coastal area of ??the eastern Zapata swamp. Besides, conchological data omitted in the original description are given to know and preliminary information about its Ecology. To identify the species, materials from the collections were reviewed: Miguel Luis Jaume from the Institute of Ecology and Systematics of Havana, Cuba and the Natural History Museum of Berlin, Germany. In addition, the images published in the literature were taken into account.
