Catalog of type specimens of Cuban marine cnidarians (Animalia: Cnidaria)

Abstract
The catalog of the twenty one type species of Cuban cnidarians belonging to the classes Anthozoa, Hydrozoa and Hydroidomedusae that are deposited until now in the zoological collections of the National Aquarium of Cuba and in different institutions abroad is presented. In addition, all the associated information obtained from the publications and databases of said institutions is shown. The results are ordered in the form of a catalog, with the most up to date systematics of the species, the institution where each specimen is deposited, its respective catalog number, the type locality, the bibliographic reference and the synonymy, if any. For some species, the collection date, the expedition where the specimens were collected and the depth are also included. This work will allow access to information quickly and efficiently.
